The rules of the game called Society are the Law, or more correctly, the legal system. If you want to succeed in the game of Society, you need to understand the rules of the game, just like you would any other game. But have you ever wondered where these laws originally came from, how they came to be?
It's really quite simple. All man-made laws take their foundation from Natural Law. What is Natural Law? Natural law is the rules of the game of life. They are the Physical (if we can call them that), Mental and Spiritual Laws that create and maintain the illusion we call “Reality.”
The basic premise is that if the Laws of Nature are immutable, then we, too, can create laws or rules and enforce them with the same level of immutability.
But there is a more complicated story behind it, of course. You see, to study the history of law is to study the history of religion, and to study the history of religion is to study the history of civilization.
Religion was first invented in order to invent the hierarchy. Any child can observe nature and never recognize a hierarchy within it. So, the earliest civilizations, in order to create a system based on slavery, needed a way to convince the masses that hierarchies are natural.
Religion was invented, based on the reality of spirituality that gods, or a Creator exists. But Religion took these ideas and formulated the gods, or God and the Angels, or Demons, into hierarchies in order to indoctrinate the masses that Hierarchy is natural. How else would you otherwise convince everyone to submit to the control of another when they otherwise had no reason to believe that they exist within an authoritarian structure?
Religions, therefore, also established the Laws of Society, basing them on the Laws of the gods, or of God. This is the sole reason that before the separation of Church and State, the Church was the State - the Church was the Government. The Church was the scribe of the Creators’ laws.
As such, the Church was the representative of the Creator and its laws, and thus the Church was the judge of the Creators laws, and therefore the enforcer of the Creators laws.
Religion was invented in order to give power over mankind to the Church by usurping that same power from each and every individual. They mixed lies with truth in order to create a system of control that everyone could believe in.
If this is difficult to believe then consider this: Every small tribal society that has ever existed has always lived in harmony with Nature and Natural Law. Everyone in their communities were considered equals under Nature and everyone participated as such in their communities. They were not Religious, they were Spiritual.
Only larger, more complex civilizations had their Religious Institutions with their complex laws and economies to control the masses in unnatural ways. If Religion, hierarchy and money were natural, then why didn’t all the tribal communities invent them?
Another fact to consider is this, who were the ones who were generally conquered by larger civilizations and made to become their slaves? That’s right! The people of these smaller tribal communities.
Those people were a constant threat to the religious class of the larger civilizations because they were a constant example of the reality of Nature and Natural Law, which is always in complete contradiction to the Religious Order because the Religious Order was anything but natural.
Our laws and governments today may not be Religious in nature, but they are following the same principles and precedents set by the original Religious Orders who invented such Governments and Laws in the first place. And in that way, faith in any Government or legal system is really quite the same as faith in any Religion. It requires faith because it is not based in reality, nature or Natural Law.
MetaGaiaes seeks to correct this with its MetaMinistration by operating in harmony with Nature and Natural Law. There is no reason we can’t have a globally complex society that operates in harmony with Nature and Natural Law.
Ultimately, the law in MetaGaiaes can be summed up quite simply as “Do no harm,” and harm is easily defined as “the violation of ones free will or property.”
That is a very broad and sweeping statement that leaves no room for loopholes and requires that every situation be determined by context using logic and reason.
The way our laws are now, every tiny little jot and tittle is attempted to be written and defined, and therefore, if it is not written or defined, then it is legal to get away with. This leaves a lot of people without justice for crimes and allows a lot of people to get away with things they shouldn’t.
The way laws currently are it is easy to limit one’s liability to their decisions and the consequences of them. But that is not how it should be. Everyone should always be 100% liable for their decisions and their consequences. This is how we learn.
Take the FDA for example. They determine how much poison is to be allowed in our food and drugs before we are allowed to sue a company for poisoning us. If the FDA didn’t exist, we would be allowed to sue any company for any amount of poison. In other words, if the FDA didn’t exist, we would be far less likely to be poisoned and would be a much healthier country for it.
It is one thing to protect ourselves so we can continue to serve others for the benefit of all, it is another thing, entirely, to limit our liability to allow ourselves to commit acts of harm towards others intentionally.
This is a problem that cannot be solved with the currently existing systems, because the systems themselves are the problem. As I've said before, it is not the people who run the systems, but the systems that run the people. We can change the people to no end and still never resolve the problem. The solution is as Buckminster Fuller so eloquently put it:
"To solve a problem, you must create a new system that renders the old one obsolete."

It does, however, offer the benefit that donors to it can have their donations be tax deductible.
If your foundation is philanthropic and will be giving donations rather than receiving them, then a good Natural Law Trust could be set up that way and would be far superior, in our opinion, because it would have no tax agency or government filing requirements and would therefore be subject only to natural laws -- i.e. don't lie, don't steal, don't violate the basic rights of others, etc. It would be free of the millions of ever-changing statutes legislated by politicians and lawyers every year.
